FlipFolio is a free, browser-based PDF viewer that makes documents feel more like a real publication. Upload a PDF from your device, then switch between page-flipping, 2D slide, horizontal swipe, single-page and continuous-scroll views. You can preview up to 150 PDF pages (maximum 50 MB). Private preview is local; optional public cloud sharing and embedding are available only when the site owner activates the storage integration.
Why a page-turning menu feels different
A conventional PDF menu can be practical, but on a restaurant website it may feel like a separate file. A menu flipbook keeps the familiar feeling of browsing printed menu pages while adding easy navigation in a browser. Use it for seasonal menus, coffee-shop cards, tasting menus, and takeaway collections.
How to create your menu preview
Prepare a readable PDF with clear prices, item names, and allergen information. Select the PDF on the FlipFolio creator and preview the pages in flipbook or single-page mode. The preview remains in the browser and can be inspected on your phone before you choose how to publish it.
Design tips for phone users
Use type large enough to read on narrow screens and avoid squeezing many categories into a single PDF page. Break a long menu into sections and put the most popular dishes early. Keep essential dietary notes written out rather than hidden in images.
What is free and what is planned
The 150-page local PDF preview is available now with thumbnails, page navigation, zoom and search for PDFs with selectable text. A permanently hosted QR-linked menu, public sharing link, analytics and managed menu updating are not available in the current browser preview rather than functions of the free preview.
Frequently asked questions
Does this replace my printable menu?
No. Keep the PDF you use for printing, and preview the same file as a digital flipbook.
Can I use it for a café or takeaway menu?
Yes. It works with any PDF menu within the tool limits.
Can customers scan a QR to reach my published menu?
Public QR-linked menu hosting is not live yet. The tool currently produces a private browser preview.
